Dumb ways to spread is a parody of the famous campaign Dumb ways to die. It started as a bit of a joke between me and some other students on my course, but quickly turned into a collaboration between advertising and animation students from the University for the Creative Arts.

Our parody so far has over 100k views and has been featured on the uca website, the drum, ads of the world, famous campaigns, mad over marketing, and even some international media: focus (cz), ReasonWhy (es)!

This ad has been nominated for the Chip Shop Awards for:
Best vandalism of an existing ad
Best use of honesty
Best ad which really should run (that hasn’t)
Best parody
